A Day with David Bond: The Artistry of Sign Writing
Our podcast journey led us to spend a remarkable day with David Bond, a talented and accomplished sign writer who is known as Lucky B Design. From the moment we arrived at his workshop, we were captivated by David's impressive portfolio, which showcased his exceptional skills and artistic flair. Stepping into David's workshop, located in his garage space, we were greeted by a living portfolio of his work. The walls were adorned with an array of stunning signs, representing a diverse range of projects, from private clients to corporate collaborations. Each piece spoke volumes about David's expertise and attention to detail. Notable names such as the Born Free Motorcycle Show, Harley Davidson, and 812 Brewing proudly showcased his craftsmanship.
During our time with David, we had the opportunity to uncover the stories that shaped his career as a sign writer. Following our tour, we visited a local restaurant for lunch and since it was Easter Sunday, we were invited into David's home to spend time with his family.
