We’re a small team, nine of us altogether, but I started off just on my own, 10 years ago. My offering in furniture designs has grown slowly over those 10 years, out of a mixture of pure experimentation and sometimes taking a client brief further to arrive at a new piece or collection. We’re very much a bespoke outfit, and we go to the nth degree to provide what the client is really after. We always deliver with the utmost quality and care that’s achievable, and it’s always with the best quality materials that are available.
The business began in Cape Town, South Africa. My wife and business partner Susie is South African and we had moved out to Cape Town in 2009 to start our family and to test the water down there with my ideas. We decided in 2019 to move our young family back to South Devon in the UK, which is where I’m from. We’re currently in a transition stage in that we’ve only been here for a year. So, at the moment I am primarily remotely managing our existing business in Cape Town and setting up our new workshop here in South Devon.
