My name is Claudia MacDonald and I am a self-taught landscape artist, working primarily in acrylic paint. I create paintings inspired by nature, mostly water and sky. I work from my cosy little home studio and love having my art supplies nearby so that I can jump into my landscapes any chance I get.
I’m based in Kawartha Lakes, Ontario, Canada. My home studio is in the heart of a small village next to lots of rivers and lakes, yet close enough to the big city of Toronto. It’s really the best of both worlds: I get to have my quietness while creating, but I’m also near the market for my work.
