Nemo Leather Goods is a French brand created in 2018 and run by this Latvian-born craftswoman. It specialises in small, minimalist leather goods designed and 100% handcrafted by a single person (me) in Strasbourg, France: no machines or computers are involved. The Nemo workshop is a tiny corner of my living room in a lovely 1930s building. I hope it will be possible to move to a bigger place in the near future, somewhere in the industrial part of Strasbourg.

Given my particular interest in late 19th and early 20th century history, and fascination with the period of the Industrial Revolution and the beauty of Art Nouveau architecture, I have always been into small goods representing class, elegance and grace. A frequent visitor of antique stores and flea markets, I decided I would not only collect but also create beautiful yet simple goods to last a lifetime.
