My name is Lars Jensen, born in 1986 in Norway, and I run the one-man operation Østmo Bootmaker. In a somewhat unconventional manner, there is no website or online shop where you can get hold of my boots. I don’t keep any stock of boots or shoes, and only make one pair at a time in a random size and leather, which I post for sale once they are ready. Those who are interested in buying them have 24 hours to join a list, from which I draw a random ‘winner’ who gets to spend their hard-earned money on a pair of Østmo boots. In other words, I don’t take custom orders and there’s no waiting list for my boots. As king and ruler absolute of Østmo, I just do my own thing to keep things interesting and fun.
