vWhen I first started the business, I was trying to work out how to build a better bike. Being a cyclist myself, I’d become quite frustrated with what was available on the high street: bikes that tend to be made in far-off countries and popped out of a mould, not necessarily built with any interest in provenance or the quality of fit or finish. I thought there must be a better way to design and make a better bike, and at the same time give people a bit more insight into the process.
