Not only is Tim an incredible maker. He and his wife Tracy are key instrumentalists in our US podcast trip of 2023. Tim generously made us a pen that we felt it fitting to collect in person. Tim and Tracy ( a fabulous emerging potter ) then offered their home as our base camp for the first week.

My name is Tim Cullen, and I’m a custom fountain pen-maker and hand engraver living in Canton, Georgia, USA. Everything that I make is made entirely by hand, using hand tools or manual machinery.
It’s been an interesting journey to this point and probably not a very common one. I was born and raised in Southern California and, aged 17, only four days out of high school, I joined the US Army and spent four years serving my country. After leaving the armed forces, I joined Orange County Sheriff’s Department, where I spent 27 years as a deputy sheriff.
