I’m Sarah Symonds, the brains, hands and entire human behind What Are We Celebrating Again? handmade cards. What Are We Celebrating Again? cards feature typography-based sentiments of a lacklustre, passive-aggressive, dry, honest and lukewarm nature – because not everyone wants to send a card full of rainbows and glitter. I know I certainly don’t.

The concept’s something that had been simmering away in my head for a while but which I hadn’t got around to doing anything about. Then, one day, while working on (read: procrastinating about) some stuff for a client in a local coffee shop, the name What Are We Celebrating Again? came to my head and I started messing around with the logo. It all just kind of grew naturally from there.
