Yarmouth Oilskins has designed and manufactured quality workwear in Great Yarmouth, Great Britain, for well over 100 years and is seventh generation family-owned. Occupying the same factory site today, we manufacture modern workwear for the 21st century, including traditional workwear designs – all produced here in Norfolk.

During the Second World War, Yarmouth Stores Ltd employed more than 1,200 machinists to make primarily maritime workwear, which was sold at major ports in the UK and throughout the world. In the heyday of the fishing industry, Yarmouth Stores would kit out fishermen and the Scottish herring girls arriving at the ports with oilskin aprons and skirts, ready for work. Moving into the 21st century, the style of workwear has evolved along with workplaces, and our company has adapted production to meet today’s workwear necessities.
