I’m a stone sculptor living in Edinburgh, UK. I make sculpture in stone, predominantly marble, and maintain a studio practice here in the middle of the Scottish capital. I am fortunate to have only a seven-minute commute by bicycle from my home to my studio. While I’d love a larger studio to expand my practice and produce larger scale work, the ability to work in such a noisy, dusty and generally quite antisocial medium in a city centre location is a convenience I’d be loath to give up.
