Arra Textiles is a hand weaving design studio in Aberdeenshire, UK. It is named after my great-grandmother, Arra MacDonald, who was born and raised on Orkney and passed on her love of textiles to me. I launched my first collection, of bespoke throws and cowl scarves, at the ‘New Designers, One Year On’ exhibition in 2016.
