I’m Bethany Hartwick and I am an artist working primarily in watercolour. I love adding mixed media elements into most of my pieces and enjoy working intuitively and expressively in both abstract artworks and landscapes. Gold is a recurring theme in my work, as are vivid colours and gilded details. 

I’m located in Needles, California, USA, which happens to be my husband’s hometown. We’ve been here for six years and in that time purchased a little 1938 house and started a family. It was the studio space that really stole my heart and sold me on the house. I am so thankful to be able to work from home with my daughter. She’ll be three this year and it is such a fun time to be a mom and watch her grow.
