I make contemporary wheel-thrown porcelain inspired by the sea. I work from my garden studio, The Cloud Pottery, located in the countryside near Aberdeen, in the UK. Working as a graphic designer for 20 years generated a fascination for mark making. I make pared-back forms inspired by Japanese and Scandinavian ceramics, which provide a canvas for abstract decoration.
