My name is Daphne (aka Judith) and I’m the artist behind JUDiTH+ROLFE, a bespoke paper art studio currently based in the suburbs of Richmond, Virginia, USA. Paper is my chosen medium because it is a widely available everyday material that has endless possibilities. 

I create contemporary dimensional paper artwork using various techniques such as folding, cutting and layering. I specialise in working with on-edge paper, whereby strips of paper are individually cut and glued down on their edges. My self-taught technique roughly approximates the traditional craft of quilling or paper filigree work, an art form that has been around since at least the Middle Ages.
