My name is Ann Karlholm and I am the founder of Karlholm Design. I am a member of the Konsthantverkarna, a fine craft association located in Stockholm, Sweden. I also collaborate frequently with the Galleri Sebastian Schildt and have had my work exhibited in the Stockholm gallery. 

I am a cabinetmaker and a fine craft artist. I use wood as my medium, and bringing to life the reality of my visions is very rewarding. It is an ongoing process that begins with testing the ideas that I collect in my sketchbooks. Often, creating is about expressing a feeling or paying tribute to something that is close to my heart. When it comes to design, I like clean lines and I try to pay attention to details and textures. My background as a cabinetmaker has given me the right tools and techniques to be able to work and express myself the way I want. Lately, I have concentrated on abstract sculptures and wooden art objects.
