I am a fibre artist who creates small-batch handwoven and tufted rugs. I create handwoven textiles on multiple floor looms and I also make hand-tufted rugs. I work out of my apartment where I have set aside a small studio space. It can be a challenge to manage multiple looms and a tufting frame within the limited space, but it is entirely worth the effort.
I live in Branson, Missouri, USA, where I have lived my whole life. Branson is very much a tourism-based town, but it has a very supportive community with a deep appreciation for traditional crafts. Although I have only ever lived in this town, I would be content to live anywhere as long as I had access to my looms.
