We are British artists Sarah Emily Porter and James Trundle, the duo behind Porter + Trundle. In 2014, after meeting in an East London pub, we discovered a shared interest in material manipulation and innovative design. From that day on, we discussed how our individual practices could form a makers collective, but it wasn’t until James helped to fabricate my award-winning sculpture Anatomy of Colour, in 2018, that we realised the true potential in working together. The following year we set up the Porter + Trundle workshop in a South London warehouse.
