I am a custom felt hat maker. I make beaver and beaver blend felt hats in my garage in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, USA, where I’ve lived for 18 years. I moved here from the Ozarks of Arkansas in 2003 to work on a guest ranch. I began making hats as a single mom in 2017. After a year-long apprenticeship, I opened a studio as a side hustle to my full-time job. One week later, I lost the full-time job and had to make the hat business work. Honestly, I had a line of folks from day one.
