I am a metal spinner/creative metalworker. Metal spinning is a traditional method of creating and manipulating sheet metal in the most advantageous way, using only hand tools and the skill of the spinner to form spherical seamless objects. This timeless craft has been used in a wide range of industries over the centuries, to make everything from decorative pieces to industrial parts and aerospace components.

I began my journey into the world of metal spinning 23 years ago, working for a small local company where the skills learned on the job are passed down from generation to generation. I entered the metalwork trade pretty much straight from school, not knowing what I wanted to do with my life but following in my father’s and grandfathers’ footsteps. Soon I was spinning a whole variety of standard and exotic metals to the required specifications.
