I’m a sole trader, working on my own to design, make and market my wares. I make modern, functional ceramics in my cottage studio in Cambridgeshire, UK. I’m inspired by the pretty things in the world, from flowers and antique jewellery to the turquoise ocean and night sky. 

I took to pottery after getting inspired by a TV show and starting evening courses with some co-workers. I was soon hooked. Within three weeks, I’d bought a wheel, put it in my half-renovated living room and got used to being very muddy. I was a marketer by day, but in the evenings and weekends I taught myself pottery through YouTube tutorials and lots of trial and error.
