I am a blacksmith and knife maker based in a small village called Sösdala, in the south of Sweden. I am very lucky to work in my dream workshop, which my fiancée and I bought three years ago; it also included a nice house for us to live in. This means I have to commute all of 12 metres door to door when I go to work. The forge itself was built in the late 19th century and has been in business ever since. One can imagine the amount of work hours put in there over the years and it is almost felt in the atmosphere of the house. I feel very fortunate to manage the forge and continue the heritage and tradition that it holds within the village. I am a total sucker for old things, so I feel right at home.
